SONG STORY: As we were writing, we came up with the hook really quickly and decided to lean into the idea of this surfer character as the singer thats also a trend setter and just a straight up boss. It had this pop feel to it, but also this distinct summer time swagger. It came out as this amazing melding of carefree bliss and an attitude that is very matter of fact. The song gives the listener a boost of confidence and a drive for even the toughest days.

SONG STORY: When thinking about “Good Days”, we wanted to write a theme song for that feeling you get on a Saturday in the summer. It was the best day of the week that brought so much freedom with it. Those were the times of our youth when we felt invincible, like nothing could bring us down. “Good Days” is an anthem that you can crank up and dance around the house to. It turns every day into that summer Saturday.

SONG STORY: We felt like writing an anthem for people to be themselves, unapologetically. To live confidently in the skin they’re in and not care what anyone else thinks of them. We wanted to call out the greatness in each listener; to inspire them break out of their shell and live life to the fullest. KENA always has this unshakeable confidence, and we thought, how can everyone be challenged to live the same way? We hope this is an anthem for each listener to break the mold.
